Before your travel to Hungary
You might think that travelling to Hungary for a dental treatment or cosmetic dentistry is complicated and troublesome. However if you decide to have your treatment in Hungary, you will not only save money but a lot of time and energy as well.

If you prefer to have a comprehensive assessment of the state of your teeth, you need to send us your panoramic X-Ray (in the UK the X-Ray usually costs between £ 40-60). We will contact you immediately and provide you with detailed information on the schedule of the necessary dental work and the estimated costs.

Travel to Hungary, Budapest for 1 day for a free consultation
You may travel to Budapest for one day (Monday, Wednesday or Friday for a free consultation). You have to pay for the air ticket approximately £ 110 (€ 140) and Panoramic X-Ray £ 30 (€40)

What materials are implants made of?
Only tissue friendly materials can be placed in the human body, which cause no damage, compatible with the tissues and are not rejected. Taking their physical features into consideration as well, titanium and aluminium-oxyd ceramics are such materials used in dentistry. Dental implants are usually cylinder or screw shaped with a 2,8-6,0 mm diametre, and 7,0-21mm length.
What is to be done before dental implantations?
- Inform your dentist about all your diseases, allergies and medications.
- Have something to eat before the surgery (just as usual), do not arrive at the surgery
with an empty stomach.
- Take your regular medication, but discuss it in advance wih the dentist who carries out
the operation.
- Bring somebody with you (because it is not recomended to drive after the operation).
What is the lifetime of dental implants?
With sufficient oral hygiene, carefully executed tooth replacement and regular check-up we can say that the lifetime of implants and the teeth beside are approximately the same. Since teeth replacements (crowns and bridges) are under a constant, 24-hour strain, they are to be changed in every 10-15 years, but implants are not removed, they keep functioning in the same way.

How can I get a dental implant if I want to have one?
Firstly, the implant is put in place which takes one day (2-3 days including inward and outward journey).
After a healing period of 1-3-6 months, the suprastructure (bridge, crown) can be prepared within 10 days in the framework of our dental programme, or a prosthesis will be prepared immediately on the newly placed implant provided that sufficient bone is available, so the patient will be able to leave the surgery with usable teeth that day or the day after.
